SORPRENDENTE!
In qualche modo, Blogger ci ha disconnessi dai tre precedenti blog di Eurohistory. Poiché non ci sono esseri umani che si occupano dei reclami dei clienti, le nostre richieste di assistenza sono state ignorate!
Speriamo di non essere disconnessi da questa ultima home virtuale di The EUROHISTORY Journal!
Alcune novità su ciò su cui stiamo lavorando…
Il numero CXVI, volume 20.4 è stato mandato in stampa oggi!
Questo numero conclude il nostro 21° anno di pubblicazione e ci consente di concludere il 2017... un anno che ha portato al nostro editore molto dispiacere, ma anche una meravigliosa gioia nella persona di un bambino di nome Ezra. È il primogenito del figlio maggiore di Arturo Beeche e David Higdon, Zac. La madre di Ezra, María Carlón Bustamante, si è formata per gestire tutte le nostre spedizioni, cosa che fa quando non frequenta le sue lezioni quotidiane all'università. Oltre a essere una persona che impara in fretta, María è una madre fantastica e una nuora meravigliosa.
Entrambi i figli dei Beéche al momento non vivono a casa. Zac è in un istituto dove i suoi problemi derivanti dalla dipendenza vengono affrontati. Sta facendo grandi progressi e, sebbene ci manchi molto, sa che deve essere dove si trova per costruire il suo futuro come studente, padre, coniuge e figlio. Sebbene sia stato orribile che i tribunali lo abbiano allontanato dalla casa dei Beéche il giorno del suo 21° compleanno... Zac e la famiglia si rendono conto che è stata una mossa presa dal cielo. Dovrebbe ricongiungersi alla sua famiglia tra circa otto mesi, se non prima, in attesa dei suoi progressi...
Per quanto riguarda Nicholas…
Nicholas ha sempre sofferto di depressione e grave ansia. L'anno scorso è stato particolarmente difficile per lui. Tra giugno e dicembre, Nicky ha tentato il suicidio nove volte. Che si trattasse di buttarsi da un ponte, di autolesionismo o di assumere grandi quantità di farmaci, fortunatamente, ha fallito nove volte. La famiglia è estremamente grata al team medico e psichiatrico che ha lavorato con Nicky. Per i Beéche, avere la nuvola oscura dei continui tentativi del loro amato figlio di porre fine alla sua vita è stata una questione totalizzante. Ogni tentativo ha portato a più servizi terapeutici e a un numero maggiore di incontri settimanali con dottori, consulenti, gruppi di genitori. A un certo punto la famiglia Beéche ha avuto quattro sedute di terapia serali ogni settimana.
While sharing this with you all (friends, readers, and cyber strangers) is difficult…it must be done for it explains the reason behind most Eurohistory business, other then shipping books sold through AMAZON, basically stopped between June 2017 and February 2018.
Finally, and after yet another failed self-harming attempt in January 2018, a safe institution was found for Nicky. While he is not happy there and has had a difficult time finding his footing, at least he is surrounded by professionals who can tend to his psychiatric needs. He is where he needs to be!
Then there is little Ezra…
Arturo and David had initially hoped to adopt babies. However, destiny placed Zac and Nicky in their path. “Move on,” they were told, “these boys are too damaged and frankly are unadoptable.” How could Zac and Nicky’s CPS agents refer to them as basically “disposable,” Arturo and David wondered. Hence, instead of adopting babies, they adopted Zac and Nicky when they were both ten years old, three years apart. It was not easy. It has never been a “walk in the park,” but they are their sons, period!
When Ezra came along in February 2017, neither Arturo nor David thought that they would be involved in the daily caring for their grandson. Yet, life has its own way of sending us curve balls. Two months before departing the family home, Zac talked to his fathers and asked them to welcome María and Ezra to live at the family home. Mother rand son moved in…and then we lost Zac.
So here we are…lost two sons, gained a daughter-in-law and a grandson. While we hope that Zac will be back sooner rather than later, Nicky is a different matter and his return will take longer. Yet, we do hope he returns safe, sane, and ready to embrace life’s many opportunities!
As for EUROHISTORY…
Issue CXVI is off our hands!
Issue CXVII will be laid out in a few weeks and sent to print. This will be the first issue of our 22nd year of publication. Most of the articles that will be in this issue have already been received and are being edited at present!

THE ROMANOVS ADRIFT, The Russian Imperial Dynasty in 1913-1919 , di Greg King e Penny Wilson, con una postfazione di Katrina Warne, porta ai lettori il tragico e avvincente dramma che ha travolto e alla fine decimato la dinastia Romanov. Questo volume accuratamente illustrato è previsto in uscita il 17-18 luglio 2018, il centenario dei tragici eventi di Ekaterinburg!
ROYAL COLLECTIONS III – The Royal House of Bavaria , di Coryne Hall, Seth Leonard e Arturo Beéche, è in fase di ultimazione. Quasi tutti i capitoli sono stati completati e sono in fase di editing. Una volta terminato questo processo, procederemo a completare l'impaginazione!
